This is beautifully sung by the famous and talented Sri Lankan female vocalist Indrani Wijebandara (Senarathne) who became famous when she sang in the Lester James Pieris Classic "Rekhava". The lyrics are by the legend Karunaratne Abeysekera.The melody is reminiscent of the American Folk Classic Irene Good night. I hope I have not infringed any copyrights and I publish this as there is as yet no Youtube version and it richly deserves to be in it.
