PBBM: SMC, a partner in achieving food security

In October, SMC inaugurated the first of 12 planned mega poultry farms. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the inauguration and spoke about the importance of continuing investments in agriculture. SMC President and CEO Ramon S. Ang reiterated the company's commitment to help the nation address critical issues such as food security.

The farms will be built in strategic locations nationwide, with the goal of providing consistently high-quality and affordable chicken products for all, while supporting economic activity and more local employment.
