Fender Telecaster Custom Japan TL62 3TSB Sunburst MIJ 1985 A serial

Here we have a stunning Fender Telecaster Custom in three tone sunburst, made in Japan in 1985 at the legendary Fuji-gen factory.

This is a rather special one my fellow guitar enthusiasts, this is among some of the first fenders that were made in Japan, with 1985 being only 2 years after the start of production of the TL62's this is one rare beast of a guitar.

The body of this guitar is nice and thin and the binding has aged and discoloured to a beautiful yellowish cream colour, and against the lovely three tone burst it looks fantastic. The build quality of this guitar is superb and has that feel that you only really get from a vintage guitar! The neck has a slim and wide "D" shape neck profile which makes for great playability for lead passages and just has a real feeling of quality in the hand.

The hardware on the guitar has tarnished and worn and altogether the guitar just looks fantastic and has loads of real mojo, it definitely has that vintage vibe that we all know and love.
