VW Audi 1.4 1.8 2.0 TSI P0011 Camshaft code diagnosis and repair - try this first!

Welcome back! In this video I show you how to disassemble and clean the TSI variable valve timing solenoid and valve on this 2015 Mk6 Jetta. This should also work on any TSI style engine. This is not a sure fix, but this car was fixed. Another shop quoted $1300 to repair this issue. You will need some brake cleaner, an air blower, and the special tool to unscrew the valve. THE VALVE IS REVERSE THREAD!!! I was able to make a brake caliper compressor tool work this time, but I will post an amazon link to the correct tool below.

If the code returns after performing the cleaning, further diagnostics are required. After cleaning the system, you want to change the oil with the proper oil quality and weight if those are not known. Always do a visual inspection of the entire car. If you have more than the P0011 code, this may not work. Please leave me a comment if this worked!
