This was a sad moment in time when 16 people lost their lives, 7 of these were children that died when a massive dam 3/4 of a mile long broke after heavy rain full. The floods washed down into the Village of Dolgarrog after millions of gallons of water flowed down through the village 16 people were killed and bodies never found.
