Gigafactory Texas on 21 January 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Can you believe this is the 6-month point of construction at Giga Texas? In this video, I do a 6-month look back and a 6-month comparison to Giga Berlin and Giga Shanghai at approximately the same point in time of their construction for a comparison. I hope you enjoy the presentation and information.
It was a busy day on the Giga Texas construction site despite the low clouds and a bit of mist ... despite to appearance of the weather, it was almost 60 degrees, which was genuinely nice flying weather!

Here are highlights of the day:

GeoPier equipment has been moved to the northwest corner of the foundation to begin work here installing the foundation reinforcements which are necessary before footings can be constructed
A long line of trucks were delivering not only steel and concrete parts, but also a number of crates and containers of equipment up at the old plan, at the casting machine area and in the stamping machine areas
The concrete stamping machine structure has gained two more large foundations, the wall base (perimeter grade beam) around the west and south sides, some of the corner/angled roof "double-T's" at the southeast side of the roof, and work has begun setting out steel mesh and other work to prepare for concrete pour on the roof to seal all the parts together
Electrical conduit was clearly visible emerging at the north and south ends of the long trench we saw 4 days ago and then was filled back in. Clearly this is more than just temporary electrical conduit based on the large sizes of the piping.
Another long trench just west of the electrical conduit trench has been excavated and appears to have a concrete "floor" to it. There also appears the be a water pump hose going into it, so I wonder if this is being used for water management?
The west steel structure continues to grow and now has most of the second-floor decking installed and there is decking on the third and fourth floors as well (for the current size of the building). More expansion north and south is going on today.
The Paint Shop building continues to gain more roof and floor decking, but due to the lack of footings south of its current length, cannot expand in that direction at this time. However, the east expansion continues to grow larger, mainly in the south direction although more roof panels and floor decking has been installed.
The casting machine area is getting more concrete cross braces and roof beams installed this morning. You can easily see the lanes for crane movement and access in order to install the cross beams, roof beams and eventually the roof panels.
The clearing at the north continues to grow and today, surveyors were busy taking measurements and laying out ribbon on the stakes to define the structure shape. A trench was being constructed on the east side of this construction area.
More contractor trailers have arrived on the area just east of the powerlines and the area that had fill brought in a few days ago is completely flat and being used as a temporary parking area for the workers
