The antenna has an attached 10’ coax cable, includes a stand, sticky pads for wall mounting, a power adapter with 6 ft cord, and an in-line amplifier with 30” coax cable. The antenna is a thin, flexible piece of metal that measures about 14.5” by 2.5” inches. To use it, you simply connect the coaxial cable to the connector on your TV (or set top box). Optionally, you can connect it to the in-line amplifier and then to your TV to boost signal reception; this requires the included power adapter and an available outlet. After installation, you’ll have to go through the auto scan/program process to see what channels you can pick up.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to receive any channels on our kitchen TV, even with the amplifier installed. The antenna was mounted above the TV about 10 ft from the nearest window. After moving the antenna to an upstairs office and placing the antenna against a window, we were able to get 24 channels. The channels ranged from SD quality to HD and audio only. The picture, for the most part was clear, but there were often lags, digital artifacts, and stutters. The picture just wasn’t consistently smooth enough to be able to get through a whole show without any interruptions. This antenna did not perform as well as my other antenna, mounted outdoors, which is much larger and gets about 60 digital channels with a clearer picture. I live in a NJ suburb, so I’ve got relatively few obstacles and most likely plenty of broadcast towers in my area, but this antenna while it works, didn’t perform up to my expectations.
