In Episode 9 we leave the mountain city of Da Lat and head to our next destination, Hoi An. Before leaving Jacqui has a bout of illness. Luckily she recovers in time to travel to Hoi An.

We fly to Da Nang airport where we are then driven 30 minutes to our accommodation, Island Town Villa.

On arrival we are shown to our room but then offered 4 different rooms. We end up being put in a room with stunning river views from our balcony. WE also have the use of free bikes.

We take advantage of the bike hire and head out to An Bang Beach to spend the afternoon relaxing.

WE head back to get ready for Hoi An's Lantern festival, which is held on every full moon of every month. WE show you round the festival and soak up the atmosphere. WE take a boat ride on the An Hoi river and set some lanterns away onto the river.

We then try some of the street food on offer at Hoi An night market.
