Manhattan Edit Workshop presents: Sight, Sound & Story - Christian Winters & Colin Beatty on "24/7: Pacquiao vs. Rios."

After graduating from Hofstra University in 2001 with a degree in film-making, Christian Winters has grown to be considered one of the top producer/editors in network sports.

His credits include editing and producing feature stories and teases for several Super Bowls, Final Fours, and Olympic Games, as well as editing long-form sports documentaries for FOX and CBS.

After graduating with a degree in Literature from the University of Leeds in the UK, Colin Beattie spent several years living and working abroad in Spain, Guatemala and China. After an internship with PBS "Frontline," he began freelancing as a Spanish translator for HBO's Emmy-award winning series "24/7." Over time, he took on additional roles for the show, and at present works for the series as a post-production coordinator and junior editor. He also recently had an opportunity to work the 2014 Winter Olympics, where fully tapeless workflows presented both new opportunities and new challenges.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Ríos (billed as Fight as One or Clash in Cotai) is a boxing welterweight championship fight for the vacant WBO International Welterweight championship. The bout was held on 24 November 2013 at the Venetian Macau resort & hotel in Macau.Pacquiao won via unanimous decision and took the vacant WBO International Welterweight title. Pacquiao said that the fight would be dedicated to the victims of the recent typhoon hit in the Philippines. The fight drew 475,000 ppv buys.

"Sight Sound and Story" is an annual event presented by Manhattan Edit Workshop that brings audiences "behind the scenes" with legends of visual storytelling.

Each year the one day summit brings together a collection of diverse and intriguing high-profile speaker series to discuss the evolving world of post-production.

Panels topics include the art and processes of editing film & television, exploring ground-breaking interactive media, experiencing the magic of feature sound design, taking a look at the vital roles of the VFX artist, and deconstructing key scenes from fiction and documentary favorites.
