Sundar's talk addresses postmodern misogyny, and why it should concern us all. Sundar talks about the epidemic of male violence against women in girls in India, including marital rape, corrective rape, trafficking, prostitution and pornography.

Sundar also spoke about hijras, sex-based rights and gender ideology and screened 10 minutes of footage from her forthcoming documentary 'Behind the Looking Glass'.

Vaishanvi Sundar is a writer, self-taught filmmaker and a women’s rights campaigner from the South of India. She is currently crowdfunding her feature-length documentary titled ‘Behind The Looking Glass’ – a film about the lives of women whose partners have or want to ‘transition’.
