This is the second video in the Wordpress Basics series and I'll show you how to create a child theme. Child themes are useful because they inherit styles and layout templates from another (parent) theme. This allows you to modify theme files separately without having to rewrite theme files from your base theme. You can also upgrade the parent theme at any time without messing with your customizations.
