Puffins, Puffins, Puffins! A Wildlife Haven Skomer Island

The amazing Skomer Island in Pembrokeshire South West Wales! On arrival we were immersed in thousands of Puffins all around! It's an absolute wildlife haven where you are totally immersed in nature. Famous for its huge Atlantic puffin colony where thousands of birds arrive in spring to breed. For the one day in July (out of seven) where we mostly had dry weather. Skomer day was very wet and windy, with just a little respite from the elements at midday. That's 'Sods Law' working overtime!!! However, despite the weather, I somehow managed to get some pleasing shots and it was a very rewarding day to be closeup to those cute puffins!
