About "CHAPEY DONG VENG FESTIVAL":

Community of Living Chapey, Reeksai and Supporting Forests and Biodiversity Project supported by USAID, implemented by Winrock International organize one of the first and biggest Chapey performance under the theme of “The Beauty of Cambodian Forests” at Chaktomuk Theater. The festival, which is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, also has variety of art shows performed by Cambodian Living Arts, Champey Art Academy, and Khmer Magic Music Bus.

This event intends to communicate to public audiences about forest landscapes in Cambodia through traditional music instruments, and inspire young generations to use arts and its creativity to promote change, convey conservation related messages and become ownership on Cambodia’s forests as natural heritage.
