Is Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort worth the trip? In this video, Carmelita and I take you on a full ski resort tour of Mammoth Mountain, one of California’s largest and most iconic ski resorts, located in the stunning Eastern Sierra Mountains.

We ski every primary lift, showcase the terrain they serve — while highlighting the incredible scenery (including the Minaret Mountain peaks) that makes Mammoth so unique. We stayed at Mammoth Mountain RV Park in our travel trailer, making this trip perfect for skiers who love combining RV travel, or van life with big-mountain skiing.

• Wide groomed runs for intermediates
• Incredible high-alpine skiing
• Multiple base areas
Cons:
• Wind closures are common
• Navigation takes time
• Busy during peak periods
• High elevation impacts some skiers
