🔥 As a Real Estate Agent you need to use LinkedIn to build connections in your immediate surrounding area. You can do this by connecting with people in your city/town and surrounding cities.

2) Connect with other Real Estate Agents. By doing this you will build up a community around yourself who will engage with your posts because they understand what you are trying to do. By having this base community, the algorithm will push your content to MANY other people that are NOT real estate agents.

3) Start connecting with people in your immediate surrounding area. Whether you are using the free version of LinkedIn OR LinkedIn Sales Navigator, I go over the best tactics to connect with people close to you. Shoot for titles of people who would be your dream client and build your connections with those people. Connect with new leads in your Zip Code as a Real Estate Agent on LinkedIn.

4) Start posting content that is informative and interesting to people in a broader audience than those wanting to buy a home. Share some content that is made for Real Estate Agents specifically: this will build your credibility. Then also make content that educates the non-Real Estate Agents on tricks of the trade and things to keep in mind when buying a home. You'll be amazed by the engagement and inbound leads good content can generate as a Real Estate Agent on LinkedIn.

5) Start conversations using the Gary Vee $1.80 Strategy to engage with your connections' posts. This will start conversations, build trust, build community, and above all make it so you are gaining authority and awareness from those around you. This is by far the best way to generate leads on LinkedIn as a Real Estate Agent.

6) Finally, you can experiment with outbound DM's to start conversations with the people who you would most like to work with in the future. Whether they are ready to sell/buy a home right now or not, building the relationship for the long run will make it so you are their go to in 1, 2, 5, or 10 years when they are ready to take the leap.
