Unemployed youths in Anantnag start their own mushroom cultivation, Govt helps in all possible ways

Many young Kashmiris, like Shabir Ahmad, Sadaf and Hanief Mohd were looking for a niche when they decided to go into mushroom farming. It took a little while for the market crowd to embrace this new commodity, but once they did, business mushroomed for the farmers. These youngsters who are highly qualified were unemployed and instead of going for government jobs they have started their own Mushroom cultivation units to earn their bread and butter. The Department of Agriculture in Anantnag district is providing them all possible help like training and other benefits.
