Building a platform trap, with my own locking mechanism, as requested by Mistercapnjoe. Remember, building a trap is only half the game; setting, is a skill in itself. This trap was made to be triggered from the front, but with another platform set on the other side, it can be used in a dual setting, increasing the chances of a sucessful trap. It would be perfect on a regular trail, which becomes bottle necked; but remember, this is likely to snare an animal around the leg, so even if it's a herbivore, it must be aproached with great caution ... I cannot emphasise that enough.
