In this video we installed a 2 Pole 50 Amp Breaker that will be dedicated to the Generator Receptacle. The Receptacle is a 50Amp NEMA 3R (Outdoor Rated, RainProof Wind Proof) enclosure with a male and end. A 10,000 Running watt generator and above is what we recommend. Dual fuel is always a plus as well! Install a cord from your generator to your receptacle, denergize all of your breakers (Turn Off). Start Your generator and turn on your Generator’s main breaker. Slide up the Interlock Plate and Energize the Dedicated Generator Breaker (Turn On). From then select which breakers you would like to turn on to run your appliances in your home!
