An exclusive screening of "Tommy Simpson: Living in a World I Created", a documentary short-film featuring woodworker, sculptor, furniture-maker, and ground-breaking artist of the modern studio furniture movement, Tommy Simpson.

Joined by the film's producers, Robb Helmkamp and Erik Wolken, Tommy Simpson, and Beth McLaughlin from Fuller Craft Museum. The film screening is followed by an in-depth discussion of the film, Simpson's work, and the importance of boundless creativity in all of our lives.

Fuller Craft Museum is fortunate enough to have two artworks by Tommy Simpson in our permanent collection, "Headboard" and "Ballad of Blossom Sweet". FCM has also hosted exhibitions in both 2014 and 2018; a group exhibition titled "The Stories We Tell: Works by Tommy Simpson, Michelle Holzapfel, and Binh Pho" and an exhibition titled "Playtime in the Making", in collaboration with Karen LaFleur, Marlow Shami, Nancy Tucker, Jim Fawcett, and Randy Gilman. Additionally, we currently have three bronze sculptures on loan in our courtyard.
