I wanted to make a fanvid like this for a long time, something based on voiceovers and about Flint, because I love this show and this character so much and the dialogues are always just beautiful and poetic.
I wanted to include the theme of dark/light because I've already talked about it on tumblr and it means a lot to me. The way Flint's love for Thomas doesn't have to be hidden in the shadows anymore.
The theme of Flint being called a monster when he's the one who's suffered horrible things to be begin with.
And how in the end, the war started and ended because of Flint's love for Thomas.
This show is so beautifully written, there is so much symbolism everywhere, and the finale gave it a new depth I did not expect. This is definitely my favourite show now and I'm going to miss it a lot :(
