Hot Slugger is a legendary shotgun that you can find in the Craven's nook Order bunker. This location is far to the northeast of the world map in the Terminus Range region. It can be found southeast of the Heritage Opus safehouse, and if you are doing the Crystal Brawl main mission, you will be really close to where you have to go.

Once you have entered the area named Mountain's Apse, you will find a huge gap. Use your Digirunner to jump the gap and then kill the enemies that spawn (there won't be any enemies at this point in my video because I killed them all trying to figure out how to open the bunker). Afterwards, jump up to the ledge to go forward. Just a bit ahead of you is another big gap, so use your Digirunner to jump this one as well.

After jumping the second gap, follow the path and not too far forward, you will see a grappling point to the left. Use the grappling point to get across the gap and then jump the gap ahead down to the lower level. Once you land, turn left, and use the next 2 grappling point to get to the bunker. To Open the bunker, look down the cliff edge to the left of the bunker to find the Locust cannister, and then use it on the door. Once inside, fight your way through the linear bunker to the room with the vending machines and hole in the floor to the boss arena. Drop down the hole to fight the boss, or if you have already killed it, pay to fight it again by using Moxxi's Big Encore, and then drop down. Kill the boss, and it may drop Hot Slugger!

Hot Slugger's magazine size is only on bullet, but this bullet deals huge critical damage. It is also a Jakobs, so crits will ricochet projectiles to nearby enemies as well! On top of that, its special ability Blazing Barrel increases your damage when you get a kill, and this buff can stack. For me, I got a +30% damage increase for 10 seconds, and it can stack up to 3 times. This weapon hits HARD, and if you have a crit build, you may want to go for it! Honestly, pair this up with things that increase the first bullet you fire, and it can be a nightmare! Since it only has a 1 bullet magazine, every shot fired will have the bonuses!

As for the quote in the description, "The madder I am, the thicker my accent gets!", I have no idea what this is a reference of. I googled it but the search just came up with a bunch of random stuff. If you have an idea what this may be a reference to, please let me know in the comments!
