Описание к видео Drone Flyover: "The Birds" Schoolhouse: Alfred Hitchcock's Most Famous Movie Shooting Location

In this video, Missy Jenn flew our DJI Phantom IV drone over the town of Bodega, California and showed the famous schoolhouse from the well-known birds' schoolchildren attack scene. The Birds was produced in 1963 by Universal Pictures. It starred Tippi Hedren. Suzanne Pleshette, and Rod Taylor.

The movie was based on the strange events of an inexplicable bird attack that took place in Capitola. CA in August of 1961. Birds slammed into houses and people in a totally random fashion. The reason why was never known.

The schoolhouse in this video. and the movie, was called the Potter Schoolhouse and was in use until the early 1960s. In one if the movie's most memorable scenes, a large group of birds congregated on a jungle gym outside the school. waiting for the children and teachers to exit. When the children fled the building they ran down the street being attacked by the birds. Walt Disney studios did the special effects for the movie. Thanks for watching!
