Model Airport Update October 2022

Welcome to this month's update of my model airport! We have continued to add more ground service equipment, including ramps for regional jets, along with changing up the parking positions for airlines.

Updates:
Terminal A:
The central entrance terminal has a new hotel situated across from it along with the usual flows of shuttle buses crowding the road. United is the main carrier using the terminal in this update. More hotels and parking garages are due to be added along with signage for vehicles.


Terminal B:
Terminal B is also used by United along with its star alliance partners in this update. I feel like there is the right amount of space for these carriers between this terminal and terminal A. United Express can park their regional aircraft on the ramp which can be accessed via stairs. The gate markings are ideal to squeeze in RJs.


Terminal C (Satellite Terminal):
Terminal C has lots going on with every other carrier operating from here. It handles international arrivals and manages to fit in major domestic carriers such as Alaska, American, Delta, and Southwest. Additional expansion for this part of the airport is coming soon, since the space is still rather congested.


Expansion:
The airport is currently drawing up master plans for further expansion if/when necessary. This will include an extension of terminal C, runway 26, and a new terminal D next to C or even B.
