Avengers: Doomsday is an upcoming superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film is a sequel to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It is the thirty-eighth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the second installment of Phase Six. The film is set to be released on May 1, 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars is an upcoming superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film is a sequel to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Avengers: Doomsday. It is the forty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the fourth and final installment of Phase Six and The Multiverse Saga. The film is set to be released on May 7, 2027.

Victor Werner von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom, is an enemy of the Avengers.[1] In the comics, Doctor Doom is the king of Latveria and the archenemy of the Fantastic Four, primarily Reed Richards. He and Richards have been rivals since their time in college, during which he used his mastery over science and sorcery to create a transdimensional machine, but after ignoring Richards' attempt at fixing a small mistake, the machine exploded in Doom's face. Scarred and expelled, Doom later forged his mask and armor. Blaming Richards for his accident, Doom's animosity spanned decades and culminated in the 2015 event Secret Wars, when Doom seized the ultimate power of the Beyonders but inadvertently relinquished it to Richards during their climatic duel over the fate of the Multiverse.

Victor von Doom is the monarch of the fictional European country of Latveria who uses his mastery of both science and magic in pursuit of his goals to bring order to humanity through world domination, and prove his intellectual superiority over Mister Fantastic–his old college rival and the leader of the Fantastic Four. Doom blames Mister Fantastic for his disfigurement, and wears a magically forged suit of armor with a metal mask and green hooded cloak to conceal his facial scars. Regarded as one of the smartest characters in the Marvel Universe, Doom has stolen the abilities of cosmic beings such as the Silver Surfer and the Beyonder in his lust for power, although his pride and arrogance frequently lead to the failures of his schemes of conquest. While his primary obsession is the Fantastic Four, Doom has also fought other heroes, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, the X-Men, and the Avengers.
