Ryan Devlin is a 27-year-old saxophonist and music educator from Orlando, FL Ryan started his musical journey with his father Scott Devlin who was the leader of the Walt Disney World Sax Quartet. He completed a Jazz Performance master’s degree at The New England Conservatory in Boston under the instruction of saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi in 2023 and is currently on staff as part time faculty at New England Conservatory. Ryan has been a member and featured soloist in ensembles including The Florida All State Jazz Band, The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and The Orlando Jazz Orchestra.
Ryan has toured a majority of the United States & Canada playing at famous jazz clubs like Smalls in NYC, The Zinc Bar in NYC, Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia, Scullers Jazz Club in Boston, Timucua Arts Foundation in Orlando, The Rex in Toronto, and Rudy’s Jazz Room in Nashville. He is also the 2017 winner of the Central Florida Jazz Society Scholarship Competition and was runner up in the 2017 Bob Washington Jazz Scholarship Competition. Ryan has taken lessons with world class musicians Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Alain Bradette, Lucas Pino, and Airmen of Note Tedd Baker. He has performed and/or recorded with pianists Davis Whitfield Jr. and Mike Bond, saxophonists Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Steve Kortyka, and Dave Pollack, bassist Gene Perla, drummers Adam Nussbaum, Ulysses Owens Jr., and many other notable musicians.
Caleb Montague is a drummer and composer from Cincinnati Ohio. A recent graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Caleb is performing throughout the United States with a number of artists in various genres. While at New England Conservatory, Montague had the opportunity to study with Billy Hart, Cecil McBee, Jason Palmer, Nasheet Waits, and Anna Webber while also participating in the jazz honors ensemble. While pursuing his degree, he supplemented his education as a member of the house band for the New England Conservatory community jam session, served as a speaker at events for newly admitted students, and participated in NEC’s Student Leadership Group. In addition, Caleb teaches regularly, including programs through Berklee College of Music, Cincinnati Public Schools, and Music and Math Camp at M.I.
Thomas Milovac has continued to perform, record, and collaborate with artists across the musical spectrum since graduating. He has collaborated with artists such as: Ulysses Owens Jr., Ryan Devlin, Steve Cohn, John Lumpkin, Zoh Amba, Doc Handy, Syoma Klochko, Dominick Farinacci, Steve Swallow, Elizabeth A. Baker, Sean Hamilton, Majid Araim, Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Renee Baker, and Jonas Van den Bossche. Thomas also is a member of the "pan-Florida improvisation syndicate" BONGUS, the Ryan Devlin Electric Band, and the Jacksonville based ensemble Madre Vaca. He also leads his own ensembles and projects to perform his original works including the Thomas Milovac Sextet and Trio, Maxiphony, and the Unit Colossus. In 2018, Thomas Milovac created and curated the Backroom Series in Jacksonville, Florida. The series presented concerts of improvised and creative music in Thomas's home and various venues around Jacksonville. The series played hosts to artists such as Jack Wright and Ron Stabnisky, B|_ank, Zach Rowden, Majid Araim, and Adam Goodwin. The Backroom Series ceased in 2020 with a large archive of concerts on their YouTube page.
Thomas founded the Cosmo Sonic Collective in 2021 upon his move to his current home base of Orlando, Florida. Cosmo Sonic is a platform for artists around the world to present their vanguard work. The Cosmo Sonic Collective record label has focused on releasing works of improvised music. Artists that have released music on Cosmo Sonic include Paul* Hermansen, Syoma Klochko, and Taylor Rouss.
