Todd Tuckey and the TNT Crew clown around on a Saturday and show you a rarely seen Taito Arcade Game that was a clone of the now hugely popular Taito ICE COLD BEER. Also coming out in 1983, the game play was the same. You navigate a small steel ball using two joysticks, up and moving rail avoiding the wrong holes, and hitting the numbered holes in order, until you reach the top.
In this variation, the artwork on the sides of the cabinet and the glass front are changed to reflect a non alcoholic theme--a hiker climbing up "Zekes Peke". The ten holes have zany names and the music is changed so that it does not play "99 bottles of beer on the wall".
This was made to be placed in family locations, like Ice Cream Parlors. If you got to the tenth hole, a STAR would light up on the control panel and you would maybe win something the store would offer.
"Fat Chris" and son Joey bring three dozen super fresh donuts to entertain the boys, and we get another TNT customer Tony and his niece Victoria who also stop in to annoy us. Bearded Steve comes by for coffee and helps with a Gottlieb MONTE CARLO Pinball Machine. And Curt and Frank try to annoy Todd whenever possible!
