Wait...my health insurance company thinks my Remicade isn't medically necessary? |

Alright Crohn's Warriors we're going to be talking about overcoming a health insurance denial! Let's Talk About Butt Stuff Vlog #4! I'm so glad you've joined me for another video to the Lets Talk About Butt Stuff playlist. Today is all about my monthly Remicade infusions finally being approved!

I'm not a chronic illness vlogger, but I want to share my experience with those that it might help. Show the highs and lows as I work toward remission.

After months of battling my insurance company for monthly Remicade infusions they caved and I will begin monthly infusions following my next infusion in June! Which is such exciting news!

In March of 2020, after 6 months to a year of pain and misdiagnosis I was properly diagnosed with complex perianal Crohn's disease. This was the result of two anal fistulas. One year ago I went into the infusion center for my first Remicade (infliximab) treatment. I credit that drug with helping me get closer and closer to remission.
