Catching squid with jigs from the rocks at night time whilst using artificial light -
In this video I will be catching squid on jigs whilst fishing from the rocks and avoiding the over crowded piers.
This video is perfect for beginners that are looking to learn how to catch squid on jigs.

We are well into the squid if season here in Jersey which typically spans from around mid-autumn until early springtime.
The piers are usually extremely crowded during the evenings at sociable hours so to spend an evening away from the crowded piers I mostly stick to fishing from the rocks which can be as equally rewarding.
I do still enjoy fishing the piers for squid from time to time but this has now become my favoured way of targeting squid.
