New VS OLD? How has the 2008 Chevy LMM Duramax done? Buy new or Used?

We are going to follow up on Sentinel, the 2008 Chevrolet 3500 HD 6.6 LMM Duramax Diesel with allison. We bought this two years ago to run on the channel. We did a lot of things to it and for the past two years my son has been driving it.

What problems we had with the LMM Duramax Diesel? Zero issues. The truck was held up well and the LMM diesels are know to run over a half million miles with proper care and maintenance. Doing proper regens is the key to any of these diesel trucks made after 2007. The LMM is a very good engine. this was just a catch up video as he's ready to move on from it and get something smaller. Is the LMM a good duramax? Yes. Can you save some money and buy a used, well cared for truck over a new one? yes. As long as it fits your towing needs, why not.
