Very happy and honoured to be able to offer these limited edition upfront test press editions of the forthcoming Khartomb 12" EP due to be released on Manchester's consistently excellent Before I Die label. This is the kind of reissue that gets me very excited indeed. Not only does it contain two long lost gems of dubwise post-punk perfection from Coventry's Khartomb that originally appeared on a now very tricky to obtain 7" dating back to 1983 but also two excellent brand new remixes that put an intriguing new contemporary spin on proceedings. And, as if that isn't enough, there's also the added bonus of a previously unreleased original track from the band included too.All this makes for a really lovely and well thought out reissue package that pairs the old with the new and particular respect is due to the two remixers who both turn in absolute blinders - a "Balearic Dub Mix" from Synkro that does exactly what it says on the tin and a dubby late night little groover "Redub" from Talking Drums.
Another great record from Before I Die to add to their ever expanding and ever impressive catalogue of releases. The exclusive special edition available here consists of the official test pressings for the release presented in their original sleeves alongside a limited edition photographic print of the 12" artwork. Very limited - only 20 in existence I believe...
