Im Kampf mit der Erinnerung - PTBS, die posttraumatische Belastungsstörung

Seit mehr als 30 Jahren ist die Bundeswehr im Einsatz: in Asien, in Afrika und auf dem Balkan - im Auftrag des Bundestages. Wie gehen wir als Staat und Gesellschaft mit unseren versehrten Soldat:innen um, die ihre Gesundheit im Dienst für Deutschland geopfert haben?
Insbesondere die posttraumatische Belastungsstörung, die PTBS, steht für die Herausforderung, einen an Seele und Geist erkrankten Soldaten korrekt zu behandeln.
Rund 80% der deutschen Teilnehmer:innen an den Invictus Games haben eine PTBS.

For more than 30 years, the Bundeswehr has been deployed in Asia, Africa and the Balkans - on behalf of the Bundestag. How do we as a state and society deal with our injured soldiers who have sacrificed their health in service to Germany?
Post-traumatic stress disorder, PTSD, in particular, represents the challenge of correctly treating a soldier who is ill in mind and spirit.
Around 80% of the German participants in the Invictus Games have PTSD.
