In November each year Remembrance Sunday is marked by a parade, short ceremony
and wreath laying. It takes place at the front of the Cenotaph, on the grounds of Elmslie
Memorial Church. Due to Covid-19, this annual event takes a different approach this
year, to just a wreath laying ceremony. This decision has been taken especially for the
safety of our aged Veterans who are in the high-risk category, as well as the space
limitations that challenge the social distance protocols.
