political analyst Chinta rajasekhar comments on The TDP and Janasena, allied in Andhra Pradesh for the 2024 polls, have outlined their initial joint manifesto. Prioritizing poverty eradication, financial empowerment of the poor, and farmer upliftment, the parties, led by senior TDP leader Y Ramakrishnudu, revealed a collaborative effort with Janasena contributing five points to TDP's six, resulting in a total of 11 key agenda items. Discussions with diverse sections of the population are in progress to finalize the comprehensive manifesto. Among the highlighted points are the Sowbaghya scheme, universal drinking water supply, BC Protection Act, Amaravati as the capital, free sand, and workers' welfare. During a press conference in Mangalagiri, Ramakrishnudu emphasized that the Sowbaghya scheme aims to support SMEs by offering a maximum subsidy of 20% for projects costing up to Rs 10 lakh if the TDP-Janasena alliance assumes power.
