Have you been doing your signing exercises? Document signing can happen as late as closing day but we try to sign docs the day before. If closing is happening on a Monday, Saturday is preferred. We do this to assure that closing day is as smooth as possible. We will meet with a notary (sometimes the escrow officer) to sign all documents to transfer ownership of the property to you. The documents include loan paperwork, title insurance, HOA forms, county registration docs, and tax forms among others. I do my best to be at all signings just in case some questions come up. They are rare as all documents have been made available to preview before signing. This is the final step before closing day.
