Today one of the most popular birds, but with a twist - a hummingbird whose beak is longer than his body! This Sword-Billed Hummingbird comes from the Andes in South America and is so rarely seen that no-one knows how many still remain in the wild.

Materials
I used MAB Watercolours for this painting mainly, to give a bit of iridescence as the bird has very iridescent feathers.
