The vision to build the Tropicana Las Vegas took shape 77 years ago but it would be another 10 years before the hotel-casino would hold its grand opening in 1957. The Trop, as it's often referred to stood the test of time for decades but on October 9, it will only take 22 seconds for the iconic hotel to collapse into dust and debris.
