'Phantom of the Opera' (FULL AUDIO) Ben Crawford & Julie Udine 8/17/22

(UPDATE 9/16/22): Didn't realize that I would upload this a few hours before the devastating announcement that 'Phantom' would be closing on Broadway. The emotions are still raw and I think will remain that way forever... Broadway won't be the same without it's "Angel of Music".

Pretty behind with this upload. But this is the full recording from Phantom (Broadway) on August 17, 2022. Wonderful performance as always. I included the curtain call because the audience absolutely went bananas cheering and so did I.

I sat up front at the orchestra on the percussion side. As always you can really hear how dynamic the orchestra is now. It really does blow out my speakers! I should sit somewhere else next time I guess!

Carrington should play Firman as principal! He absolutely killed it in the character. There were a few flubs also. 'Masquerade', Carrington mistakingly calls Andre, Reyer, and during 'Managers II', Andre forgets their lines and utters gibberish which makes everyone hold their laughter throughout the duration of the scene. It is not noticeable on audio but funny to watch on stage.

I honestly, did not like Paul's interpretation of Raoul. But I'll save my opinions.
