In this video we do a bit of DIY and replace the intake air filter and cabin air filter on the Audi S4 B8/B8.5 chassis. You will need the replacement filters, some Torx bits and a flathead screwdriver. Note the factory Audi intake air filter does not come with a new O Ring, so I prefer the Mann filter above or the Hengst filter. I also briefly look at the snow screen, this needs to be cleaned as well, mine was filthy. Noticeable difference in acceleration off the line with a new air filter and cleaned snow screen. Some say they eliminate the snow screen altogether for a better throttle response. I might try it but the snow screen does act as a prefilter, so there are two sides to it. I had a fun time making the video so hopefully it helps and it saves some money doing it yourself rather than paying labor charges for a mechanic to do it.
