We don't follow the commands that sustain life. That keeps families together. That keeps children obedient, so they can learn what it is to be an adult. Why, so they will not be a plight on society when they leave the nest. That is if they leave the nest. For a wise child brings joy to his Father, but a foolish child grief to his mother!
