Mike Reed plays "Santana" sounds on the Hammond Organ

Hot outside, and Santana calls out for a Minor Key romp, through "Evil Ways" and more. Here it is, made famous by them from their 1969 album, "Santana." It was written by "Sonny" Henry. We recorded this on my third album "My Way", in Tampa Bay, Florida in 1977. It's all about syncopated Latin rhythms and percussion and lots of reverb through the Leslies. "Life is Good", especially at 3 p.m. EDT, and the Hammond takes me on a memory trip, back to when all my music was made at clubs and restaurants. Nice funky flashback, on 8/21/2020. Keep the drums beating, baby. 😎🎹🎹
