2007 Toyota Highlander sunroof initialization - Sunroof stuck open

Описание к видео 2007 Toyota Highlander sunroof initialization - Sunroof stuck open

Oh no my sunroof on my Toyota won't close! Well you shouldn't have opened it to begin with. It's way to bright outside, there is pollution, there are bugs and birds, there are flying rocks, rain drops, hail, carjackers, thieves and solar radiation. Plus if the stupid sunroof won't close when you need it to you can’t secure your car from any of the things listed above.
If you insist on opening you sunroof and find that it doesn't close properly then try this relearn procedure first. More than likely the battery went dead or replaced at some point in the past and this initialization procedure was not performed. So before you go to your mechanic and pay for them to follow my video just do it yourself and save a buck.
All you have to do is get the sunroof closed and then do the relearn. I did this on a 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. To get the sunroof close just tap the closed button several times until it move inch by inch into the close position and then tilt it up. Now that you have the sunroof in the vent position press the close/vent/tilt button for about 10 seconds and the sunroof should start moving on its own. KEEP HOLDING the button until the entire process is complete and then once it stops moving you can let go. Now give it a try and see if it functions properly. If it does then you are all set and you can move on breaking something else... I mean fixing something else on you car.

Thanks for watching and reading this.
