Sand bubbler crab, the sand artist.
These little sand balls caught
my attention on the beaches along the Queensland coast of eastern Australia.
On a closer watch🧐, there were small holes in the sand and I found these small sand bubbler crabs inside each hole working at great speed. It eats sand, extracts the organic material, and then spits out the sand as little balls. It was quite interesting and I took a video of that. 😎
