Fail to retrieve the ABS code for my 1998 Toyota Camry, need help from you guys

The ABS light of my 1998 Toyota Camry on. I've tried to use my OBD II scan tool to read the trouble code. But I failed. And I've tried to retrieve the ABS code with the built-in self-diagnostic system of my car by following the instructions of Haynes repair manual and some expert YouTubers. And I failed again.

Based on the visual inspections I have made, I guess the reasons that we have the ABS light on are the rusty drum brake and the worn wheel bearing or hub. I just make some random guesses. I have no idea what I should do to successfully retrieve the ABS code. It will be painful to check all the ABS sensors and wires.

Need help from you guys.
