This video covers several days and several issues both on our project as well as living off grid. We use rainwater collection and had an issue with the filter that comes off of the roof and into the tank, unfortunately that meant we needed to empty the tank and flush it out, sadly the storm we were supposed to have this particular day never came and we had no water, so as a backup plan we drove to a local rest area that's frequented by RV owners which has a dump station as well as potable water, we took a dump trailer and an IBC tote to get enough water to keep us going until the next rainfall. With a major hurricane and a storm incoming, we didn't need to wait long, but it's always nice to have a backup plan.

This week we became the owners of two rabbits who are a few months old, a male and female... so likely we'll have another project of building a rabbit hutch in the works soon. We also in the last couple of days took delivery of 20 baby chickens which we'll be raising, they're all supposed to be hens, but time will tell. They grow fast. Walls on the tiny home should be going up as soon as the weather breaks... we had 100 degree days, and then now we have day after day of rain. In this video you'll see the little progress we made since we got back at it. We also do a little English and Spanish in this video as we are both learning together.
