In this episode of the Wool to Gold podcast we go to one of my local(ish) yarn stores, Blu Pearl, in Madison NJ and I show you a small commercial yarn haul! We cut up some scrap yarn and use our hand carders to blend it with scraps from spinning projects to create little nests of fiber to spin. I show you how to make your own scrap yarn, spin up my new fiber, and thread ply it with some silk mohair.
