Oh, you know I love finding these hidden gems! This cafe ride is to another one of those teeny tiny neighborhoods in the shadows of the big, massive ones we all know. Melrose Hill is in between Hollywood and East Hollywood, historically preserved, and LA Magazine named it one of the "10 Great Neighborhoods You've Never Heard Of." Sounds like a perfect destination for a Spokes Woman ride to me!

I usually like visiting the neighborhoods before the cafe, but on this ride we were all so hungry and tired, we had to switch up the order. So we stop at this wonderful cafe that's connected to a coffee school on one side, and a row of Korean restaurants whose aromas had us drooling on the other. Then we go to the neighborhood, stop by a house used for a filming location (which is becoming one of my favorite pastimes!:D), see the views of the Hollywood Sign, and then head home. We do something on this ride that we normally never do - which is take the same route back. But it's alright, because it offered different perspectives and views, and it really was the most convenient way back. And right before we get home, we make one more cookie stop to top off the ride. I'm going to keep collecting these gems!
