The Staying In Show - Channel 4 Coming Out Party

Just going through some old tapes & thought I'd share - the first ever lesbian & gay quiz show hosted by Amy Lamé. It was shown as part of the channel 4 Coming Out Party for Ellen DeGeneres (hosted by Graham Norton) in 1998 in celebration of the first UK airing of the 'Puppy Episode' when Ellen the character came out. Team captains were Donna McPhail (the bovver bird of comedy) & Richard Fairbrass, the other contestants were Paul Gamaccini, Jackie Clune, Guinevere Turner & Scott Capurro.
Incidently we once met the bovver bird of comedy in the middle of Sackville Park during Pride about 3 years later & she told my gf to eff off. True fact - haha! Also once met the hasbian in London but we won't talk about that.
