Fallout New Vegas has been on my list of games to play for a very, very long time, but I'd kind of burned myself out on Fallout 3, and didn't want to play it. But now I think I'm finally over being burnt out, and with New Vegas being widely regarded as the best Fallout title, I'm excited to dive in.

I know very little about the game other than the intro and Deathclaw valley, and the way I tend to play games is to explore absolutely everything I can to the point it's a little problematic. In other words, it'll probably take me 70+ hours to start the main questline, so strap yourself on in for the long-haul. I did get to level 70 in Skyrim without being able to use a single Dragonshout, for instance.

For this playthrough, I'll be using the mods recommended by the Viva New Vegas team.
