Cavitron Chronicles 2: Black Buzzbait for October Bass

In this late October 2014 adventure, a Black blade/black skirt 1/2 oz MegaStrike Cavitron Buzzbait works its magic in shallow water over water weeds and lily pad stems in a central Missouri Pettis county lake. The Cavitron has an "oxbow bend" design which allows the lure to ride deeper and results in more hook-ups. There are 4 holes stamped into the blade, providing less turning resistance while creating more disturbance. Thus, the lure can be retrieved at lower speeds than traditional buzzbaits. It also has a large, high quality Gamakatsu hook that rides further back, eliminating the need for a trailer hook.
