So I don't know if this feature causes graphical glitches by itself or not, but I sure experienced some weird ones as shown in this upload.

Putting the issues aside, this is quite frankly a disappointment. There are no leaderboards for renown or what have you. There is no PvP which would be incredible given the absurd stat caps this game has to offer. While I love this game, I feel Nintendo, IntSys, and Koei alike dropped the ball on a service that even requires you to have paid Switch online.

What we do have is more akin to Awakening Streetpass/Spotpass. you are able to buy goods from others, use students as adjudicants, and some weird hide and seek game.

When I tried to use the local goods option to buy things, I noticed a stuttering graphical effect, and during the hide and seek portion I flat out got disconnected between the Switch and capture card. I do not know if this was a freak accident or not, but part of me has decided to upload this for the sake of documenting such a freak occurrence. Time will tell if it leads to anything.
